The river deltas, including Kawakawa Bay, Tongariro River, Waihaha River, Waihora River, Whanganui River, and Tauranga-Taupō River, are renowned for their rich fishing environments. These deltas provide excellent opportunities to target large trout, with the added thrill of fishing from the shore, wading into the water, or casting from a boat.
