Launching at Motuopa or Tokaanu towards the southern end of Lake Taupo, this trip involves fly fishing for Trout from the boat. The Tongariro Delta trip can run either day or nighttime.
We offer river guiding for back country wilderness fly fishing over the summer months. In the Hawke’s Bay back country streams between October to November, and the larger rivers from December to March. Mr Fishing can offer exclusive private access to the Mohaka River for fly fishing.

Leaving before dark from Kinloch, 20 minutes from Taupō, we will be fishing one of the many Western Bay stream mouths that flow into Lake Taupo. Night-time fly fishing can be epic, especially on a calm, clear night! You have a huge choice of streams for this location to try out all angling techniques. The best time to fly fish in the Western Bays is from October through to April.
