Here at Mr Fishing Adventures we are proud to offer expert river guiding for backcountry wilderness fly fishing over the summer months. In the Hawkes Bay backcountry streams are best between October to November and the larger rivers from December to March.

We want to share with you the enthusiasm and passion we feel when wrangling an acrobatic rainbow trout fresh out of a Hawkes Bay stream. The four major streams and river systems are all within a 40km radius of central Hawkes Bay, with the picturesque Lake Tutira being an amazing photo opportunity along the way.
The Mohaka River is renowned for holding massive trout, some of which may exceed 10kg. Fly fishing is the preferred method on this river as it requires a high level of skill to target these big fish.
